The Topic of this conference which may also be added is:
No One should Left behind: What We Achieved after 8 years Promoting Access to Justice.
“SDG 16 AND RULE OF LAW: INTERNATIONAL CHALLENGES AND INTERGOVERNMENTAL CONCERNS”
Goal 16: Promote just, peaceful and inclusive societies
Goal 16 is about promoting peaceful and inclusive societies, providing access to justice for all and building effective, accountable and inclusive institutions at all levels. People everywhere should be free of fear from all forms of violence and feel safe as they go about their lives whatever their ethnicity, faith or sexual orientation.
High levels of armed violence and insecurity have a destructive impact on a country’s development. Sexual violence, crime, exploitation and torture are prevalent where there is conflict or no rule of law. Governments, civil society and communities need to work together to find lasting solutions to conflict and insecurity. Strengthening the rule of law and promoting human rights is key to this process, as is reducing the flow of illicit arms, combating corruption, and ensuring inclusive participation at all times.

Joint Actions of Jurist Global and GGF on SDGs
The Global Consultation of Sustainable Development Goals and Jurists Global
The Rio+20 conference (the United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development) in Rio de Janeiro, in June 2012, galvanized a process to develop a new set of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) which will carry on the momentum generated by the MDGs and fit into a global development framework beyond 2015.
In the interest of creating a new, people-cantered, development agenda, a global consultation was conducted online and offline. Civil society organizations, citizens, scientists, academics, and the private sector from around the world were all actively engaged in the process. Activities included thematic and national consultations, and the My World survey led by the United Nations Development Group. Specialized panels were also held and provided ground to facilitate intergovernmental discussions.
The organizing committee of Jurists Global and Give Globally Foundation for their Annual International Conferences on “Ending Extreme Poverty: A Challenging Journey from MDGs TO SDGs 2016-25” and “SDG 16 And Rule of Law: International Challenges and Intergovernmental Concerns” invite everyone to join with this conference and contribute to build a discussion on the post 2015 agenda of economic growth, environment mitigation, rule of law, and poverty alleviation. Because the global journey from MDGs to SDGs Should be a big topic for brainstorming to END EXTREME POVERTY and establish RULE OF LAW to promote just, peaceful and inclusive societies.
